520 yds Fingering Weight Handspun Hand Dyed Gradient Merino/Silk Yarn “Byzantine Coins”

$56.00

Delicious light fingering weight yarn made from 75% Polwarth wool and 25% mulberry silk.  Hand dyed in a gradient before spinning, by an indie dyer.  You can see the color pattern in the photo of the fiber before it was spun.  520 yards, 5 ounces.

This yarn is worsted-spun, which means it’s fairly strong. Weavers can use it for warp as well as weft. Knitters will find it gives great stitch definition.

Want your yarn wound before I ship it?  I offer winding for a small fee. (Note that yarn that has been wound cannot be returned.)

Disclaimer:  All products are made in a smoke-free home owned by two cats.
