461 yards sport striped merino “Verdant”

461 yards of striped merino wool. Sport weight, 5 oz. Each color will make a wide stripe; you can also divide the yarn at the color changes if you want to rearrange the order.

The colors are five shades of green, flowing from lime to turquoise. Each color is roughly 90 yards long.

This yarn is worsted-spun, which means it’s smooth and strong.  Weavers can use it for warp as well as weft.  Knitters will find it gives great stitch definition.
